The FIT-FAB-I-D-6M equipment is a dual-purpose GTAW welding and FCAW welding integrated welding station specially developed for butt welding of straight pipes and pipe fittings (straight pipes, elbows, flanges, tees, reducers, etc.). It is applicable to the external circumferential seam GTAW + FCAW butt welding of straight pipes, flanges, 1.5D elbows, tees and reducers with a total length range of 1-6m. Applicable straight pipe outer diameter Φ100mm to 1000mm, wall thickness 12.7mm to 59mm, material: SS316L stainless steel/super duplex stainless steel SDSS.


This station uses a fixed chuck to rotate and drive the clamping mechanism to rotate the steel pipe. Two sets of movable roller frames hold the pipe fittings. A walking welding frame moves the welding torch to the butt welding position to achieve butt welding of straight pipes, flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, etc. During the welding process of GTAW and FCAW welding gun, they can be freely switched.
